Synthesis and Characterization of Carbon Dots
Experienced in the social research-based project to make a fish drying machine for fishery community in Kenjeran Beach, Surabaya, Indonesia.
This is my bachelor thesis project. The preliminary study regarding to this topic has been published in the SPIE Conference Proceedings through the Third International Seminar on Photonics, Optics, and Its Applications (ISPhOA 2018) which I got the 2nd best poster award. The similar result was also presented by me in the annual meeting of the Optical Society (OSA); Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science (FiO+LS)2018 held in Washington, DC, USA.

This is the project when I was in the Research Center for Physics, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI, Serpong) for my undergraduate internship. I presented the result in the national seminar held in Jakarta, which later was accepted and published in the national journal of Omega: Jurnal Fisika dan Pendidikan Fisika (Journal of Physics and Physics Education) in 2018. The initial goal for this project is for utilizing the wasted peels of fruits to be valuable and can be applied for sensing in the form of carbon dots.

This is the project that was funded by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Indonesia through the Student Creativity Program in 2017. The duration to finish the project was approximately for 6 months. At the end, there was an evaluation from the Ministry for what we have done by using the funds. The results were also published through the conference presented by me in the annual meeting of the Optical Society (OSA); Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science (FiO+LS)2018 in Washington, DC, USA.

This is the project that was funded by Research and Community Service Institution of Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember [LPPM ITS]. We strated this project from the beginning until the end of 2017. Since this was a social-based research project, our team has many surveys and discussions with the local residences before conducting the research and create the machine itself. We also provide eco-friendly system by providing the photovoltaic as the power supply for the dryer to be worked. The results of this project were published through the conference and in the journal.
